Container Contents
Replica can remember what supported containers held the last time you opened them and display that snapshot directly in the world.

Recording contents
The feature is configured in Options -> Display settings under Container Content.
- Record container contents remembers a supported container after you open it. It is enabled by default.
- Show the content overlay allows recorded snapshots to be displayed. It is enabled by default.
- Show the overlay while Alt is pressed provides a temporary peek mode.
- Item icons in the preview controls how many icons are shown per row.
Recorded contents are remembered between sessions and update after the container has finished loading.
Supported containers currently include cupboards, chests, large and exquisite chests, metal cabinets, stone caskets, cheese racks, Jotun clams, and crates.
Viewing contents
Use the Toggle container contents keybinding to pin or unpin the overlay for the current session. Its default is Shift + C. If Alt peek mode is enabled, you can instead hold Alt whenever you need a temporary view.
Each recorded container displays a compact badge made from its remembered item icons. Point at the badge to see the last known contents, item counts and qualities, and how old the information is.
The display shows what the container held the last time you opened it; it is not a live view. Empty containers are remembered as empty. Recorded contents and manual markers follow supported containers when they are moved.
